Grilled Nectarines with Feta (Serves 8)
courtesy of Bon Appetit, Dave Kovner and Becky Kelso

Fantastic summer side or would even make a great dessert served with your favorite white wine.

I think this would also be an awesome app using burrata instead of feta, and garnished with some torn basil, crunchy salt and good olive oil

Ingredients
4 nectarines, halved, pitted *If you can\'t get the pit out easily, just leave it in, and when then flesh starts to get soft from grilling, you will be able to remove it
Melted butter (for brushing)
1 cup coarsely crumbled feta cheese (preferably sheep\'s-milk feta)

Method
  1. Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Brush nectarines with butter. Grill nectarines, cut side down, until grill marks appear, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn nectarines over. Sprinkle with cheese, then pepper. Grill until grill marks appear on bottoms, 4 to 5 minutes.
