Produce Report: Crazy for Cabbage and Loving the Delicata Squash!

Hello all and Happy Tuesday!

Apologies for the delayed Produce Report. The produce looked great yesterdaymorning! You all are definitely in for a treat this week. The cabbage was particularly stunning.

This week our bins feature both Red and Green Savoy Cabbage. As we talked about in Friday’s blog, Savoy Cabbage is absolutely beautiful and can be cooked in many different ways.

Red Savoy Cabbage is equally beautiful and just as versatile. Its deep color and rich taste are wonderful addition to soups, stir-fries and salads.

Love was in the air for Delicata squash this delivery. We were smitten to see two squash grow together! Its already unique skin helps to

make this quite a centerpiece, if only we were closer to Valentine’s Day! Double the delicious Delicata for whoever gets to eat this really awesome looking heart shaped squash.

This week’s bins are full of fall and winter organic goodies! What are your plans for your bin this week? We would love to hear! Share all of your favorite organic recipes on our Facebook page! Post a picture and we’ll include it in this Friday’s blog. Sharing is caring! 🙂
